If this your first time to my blog, welcome. If you've been here before, you've noticed some changes. I've moved all my journals to Friends Only .

I did this for several reasons:
1. Tons of weirdoes and splog software that fill unprotected comment strings. LJ is pretty good about protecting against that stuff, but since I have a lot of political and Japan content, my photos and such get leeched.
2. Most of the people I know are friended anyway.
3. You can be a little more assured of your audience.
4. I need to preserve my electability for my future senate run. ;) j/k
